How to upload Android Dialer in Google Play:

It is very easy to upload your Android dialer in Google play store. 

Below is the detail procedure of uploading an Application (.apk file) in Google Play.


Step 1:
Developer Registration:
You must register to be able to distribute your products through Google Play. There is a onetime $25 registration fee. (Web: https://play.google.com/apps/publish/)


Step 2:
Upload Applications:
Once you've registered, from the home screen of the Developer Console, select "Upload Applications." You'll be asked to fill in the following information for your app:


Step 3:
Upload Assets:
  • APK file: maximum supported size for a single .apk is 50MB. You can use expansion files (max of 2GB each) to upload additional assets such as graphics.
  • Draft application .apk file: When you upload an .apk file, it can be saved as a draft while you edit the other aspects of the list. 
Please note that package names for app files are unique and permanent, so please choose wisely.

  • Screenshots: 2 screenshots are required. The additional 6 are optional.
o   Specs: 320w x 480h or 480w x 800h or 480w x 854h; 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha) Full bleed, no border in art.
  • High-Resolution Application Icon: Required.
    • Use: In various locations in Google Play.
      • Does not replace your launcher icon.
    • Specs: 512x512, 32-bit PNG with alpha; Max size of 1024KB.
  • Promotional Graphic: Optional.
o   Specs: 180w x 120h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha), Full bleed, no border in art.
  • Feature Graphic: Optional.
o   Specs: 1024w x 500h, 24 bit PNG or JPEG (no alpha) with no transparency
  • Promotional Video: Optional.
o   Specs: Enter the URL to a YouTube video showcasing your app (short videos 30 seconds - 2 minutes).

Step 4:
Listing Details
  • Language: This is to denote the language of your application. Default language is US English.
  • Title: The name of your application as you would like it to appear in Google Play. You may add one per language.
  • Description: The visible description of your application in Google Play. Use the translate feature to translate your description into other languages. There is a 4000 character limit for this field.
  • Recent changes: The recent changes feature provides an opportunity for you to add notes about the changes specific to the newest version of your application.
  • Promo text: Text that accompanies your promotional graphic in featured spots in Google Play.
  • Application Type: Google Play is divided into 2 major application types: "Applications" and "Games." Please choose one.
  • Category: You must select a category for your application. 


Step 5:
Publishing options
  • Copy protection: Copy protection may help prevent applications from being copied from a device. It increases the amount of memory on the phone required to install the application. They expect to deprecate copy protection soon.
  • Locations: These are the locations in which you may distribute your applications.
    • Not all locations listed currently have users with Android-powered devices.
    • You may select locations one-by-one or choose the "All current and future locations" option. This option means that, as we add more distribution locations, these locations will be enabled for your app.


Step 6:
Contact information
  • You must pick one support channel for your app: Website, Email, or Phone.
  • This information is viewable to users from Google Play.
  • You may choose to offer multiple channels for support.
